Jasmine Abrahams is the Vice President, Sustainability for Ivanhoe Mines, a leading diversified mining company with a portfolio of tier-one assets on the African continent, focused on discovering, developing and producing the critical resources essential for a low-carbon future.
In this role she is responsible for providing strategic leadership across the portfolio of ESG areas, as well as the development, maintenance and execution of appropriate ESG-related policies, controls, procedures, and disclosures for the Ivanhoe Mines group. A key component of her role includes ensuring that Ivanhoe’s sustainability strategy is embedded across all operations. She is an accomplished, diplomatic, and outcome-driven leader with deep expertise in the creation of sustainability strategies for complex environments to deliver meaningful change for shared value. Jasmine is a passionate advocate for sustainability and human rights.
Jasmine joined Ivanhoe Mines in 2010, attaining progressively senior roles during her tenure. She is an admitted attorney who holds a Bachelor of Laws, as well as a Bachelor of Science, and is currently completing her MBA.
