From 15:35 To 15:45

02/04/2019 15:35 02/04/2019 15:45 Feedback judging panel - Next Source Materials NextSource Materials Inc. is a strategic materials company based in Toronto, Canada that is developing its Molo Graphite Project in Madagascar. The Molo is a feasibility-stage project that ranks as one of the largest-known and highest quality flake graphite deposits in the world, and the only project with SuperFlake® graphite. Full-scale production is expected in Q1 2020 subject to mine financing. NextSource is looking to achieve a mining first - to construct the Molo mine using a unique, 100% modular build approach. Using this all-modular approach, the Molo mine will have a build-time of only 9 months, will have the lowest capital cost of any proposed or competing graphite mine and one of the lowest operating costs in the industry, based on a full-cost CIF-basis. In addition to the graphite project, NextSource is developing a second strategic asset just 12 kilometres away, NI-43101 compliant the Green Giant Vanadium Project, one of the largest sedimentary-hosted vanadium deposits in the world. Both graphite and vanadium prices are experiencing near 15-year highs and are capturing significant and renewed attention for their respective roles as critical battery materials. The market demand for both graphite and vanadium is forecasted to be strong as these critical battery minerals are key materials in batteries, both for electric vehicles and large-scale energy storage applications.
