Driving sustainable investment in African Mining

Noleen Pauls

Founder and Board Chairperson WIMSA

Noleen is a geologist with 30 years’ experience in multi-commodity mineral exploration and evaluation of projects throughout Africa, and gold exploration in South and Central America, based in Peru. She is a Competent/Qualified person for orogenic gold and iron ore (JORC, SAMREC, NI 43-101).
Her experience includes regional mapping, geochemical and geotechnical studies at The Council for Geoscience, exploration and project assessments for Harmony Gold, consulting with The Mineral Corporation and The MSA Group, and business development with IMDEX Limited.  She is currently an independent consultant.
She is a registered professional natural scientist with SACNASP and a fellow of the Geological Society of South Africa and VP of its Professional Affairs Portfolio. She is chairperson of the Women in Mining South Africa (WiMSA) board and a life member of the Worldwide Association of Female Professionals.
