Mining Indaba - Aracari Resources

Aracari Resources is a privately held company, with ownership split between Ireland based Aurum Discovery Ltd. and Cameroon based Global Acquisitions Ltd. 50/50. The company is focused on its Banjoukri project in NE Cameroon. The Bandjoukri block is a portfolio of four exploration permits (2000sqkm), over part of the Tchollire-Banyo Shear Zone in the Pan-African Orogenic Belt on the northern margin of Congo Craton. The licences straddle Neoproterozoic greenstone belt rocks and associated major, deep-tapping crustal lineaments which are commonly prospective for orogenic lode gold mineralization & deposits – an exploration model from which almost half the global supply of gold is sourced.
