Mining Indaba - Noronex Limited

Noronex Ltd is an ASX listed mineral exploration company. Its target commodities include base and precious metals with a focus on copper. In November 2020 the Company acquired a portfolio of copper projects that are located in Namibia on the Kalahari Copper Belt and in Ontario, Canada. The projects include advanced deposits with JORC (2012) compliant resources of 10Mt @ 1.3 % Cu1 in four deposits. Recent exploration in 2022 on new areas within the Witvlei tenements has reported at the Daheim prospect up to 27m @ 1.6 % Cu (including 10m @ 2.5% Cu) in shallow drilling. Further expansion of these intercepts is growing the scale of the project. Noronex’s strategy includes targeting district-scale copper projects, where modern technology and updated geological interpretations can be used to rapidly expand existing high grade resources and find new ore bodies. The package in Namibia covers over 6,000 km2 of the highly prospective, relatively underexplored and shallow covered Kalahari Copper Belt. The tenements hold ~300 kilometres of the targeted NPF-D’Kar contact including the previously drilled Fiesta prospect between Witvlei and the Botswana border.
