UK Department for International Trade
The UK’s Department for International Trade (DIT) helps businesses export, drives inward and outward investment, negotiates market access and trade deals, and champions’ free trade. We are a specialised government body with responsibility for negotiating international trade policy, supporting business, as well as delivering an outward-looking trade diplomacy strategy.

The UK is particularly well known across the world as a leading mining finance and trading hub. There is a growing domestic extraction industry, with companies exploring and developing critical mineral projects across the UK supported by DIT. In addition to providing access to capital, the UK is also home to a large number of professional service providers that deliver a wide variety of expertise to mine owners, governments, and investors.
