Charlotte is a sustainability subject matter expert with 14 years’ experience in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) advisory and assurance services.
Charlotte has gained extensive experience within the mining sector through performing sustainability assurance, financial provision audits, sustainability finance, mine closure, ESG due diligence as well as sustainability and impact reporting. Charlotte was the lead global KPMG environmental specialist in mine closure provisioning gaining experience in the sector cross Africa, Australia and South America.
Her engagement experience include mining, industrial and power generation sector globally as well as listed and unlisted entities. Charlotte actively managed over forty specialists in audit engagement’s annually as the lead environmental specialist.
Charlotte is a principle subject matter expert in KPMG South Africa Sustainability Services focusing on the management and implementation of ESG Assurance, ESG Reporting and Sustainable Finance agendas.
Charlotte holds a M.Sc. in Environmental Management with a research focus on mine closure and financial provision disclosures in the mining sector.
