Dean is a young professional who is currently a junior legal project consultant at INMISO Consulting. Prior to joining INMISO, Dean was a Candidate Attorney at a leading Zimbabwean law firm, where his areas of interest included extractives law, corporate law and intellectual property law. He is a holder of a Bachelor of Arts in Law degree and a LLB degree from the University of Pretoria Faculty of Law.
At INMISO, Dean will be involved with advising corporate clients in areas such legal project management, mining community relocations and mining community development.
Dean currently serves on the Advisory Board of the General Counsel Forum, and is the Young Lawyer’s Representative for 2023. He will also feature in a segment at the General Counsel Forum as a speaker, where he will share key insights together with leading industry professionals.
Dean previously served as an Executive Committee member and Marketing Director at ENACTUS, a network of leaders in 2300 tertiary institutions across 33 countries, who are committed to using business as a catalyst to make positive social and environmental impact. ENACTUS strives to inspire, and support young people to use innovation and entrepreneurship, with the aim of developing adaptable and public-spirited leaders for South Africa and the world
Dean is passionate about Africa’s natural resource sector and its governance and hopes to continue to make his mark in an industry that is complex, fast-paced and requiring last solutions.
