Hon. Dr. Peter Teko Lokeris is a Member of Parliament and Minister of State for Mineral Development. He holds an Honorary Degree in Public Administration (PHD), a Master’s Degree in Marketing, a Master’s Degree in Peace and Conflict studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce.
His record of Public Service includes as the Minister of State for Karamoja Affairs, Minister of State for Education, Minister of State for Mineral Development, Minister of State for Works, and again as Minister of State for Mineral Development. Previously, he served as a Treasurer for Moroto District, District Administrator Moroto District, and Special Administrator Moroto, Kasese and Jinja Districts. He is one of Uganda’s longest serving ministers and has amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Mining and Minerals sector.
