Co-founder and CEO, Frontier Rare Earths

James is a Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Frontier Rare Earths and has over 25 years’ experience in the natural resource sector in senior executive, advisory and Board roles. James has overseen the development of Frontier Rare Earths, including its listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange in 2010,the discovery and successful permitting of Frontier’s Zandkopsdrift rare earth battery grade manganese sulphate project in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa and the introduction of the South Korean Government as strategic project partners. Frontier is also developing Nipacue, a major high grade flake graphite project in Mozambique.

James was a co-founder and Director of Firestone Diamonds, a London Aim listed company who built and operated five diamond mines in South and Southern Africa, including in partnership with De Beers. James has also held senior roles with ABN Amro Bank, Rothschild, RBS and Evolution Securities and has previously served on boards as a non-executive director in the emobility, private equity and technology sectors.

James has a B.Comm (Hons) and a MBS (Finance) from University College, Dublin.
