Narjess Naouar has over 14 years of experience as in-house legal counsel in the mining industry. Narjess joined Moxico Resources as General Counsel and Company Secretary in May 2022. Between March 2020 and January 2022, Narjess was General Counsel of Golden Star Resources until its takeover by Chifeng Jilong Gold Mining Company. Prior to Golden Star, she held roles establishing and managing the legal function of several publicly listed mineral exploration and development companies with assets in Africa including Mano River Resources, Afferro Mining, Aureus Mining and GB Minerals. Narjess is a dual qualified English and French corporate lawyer with experience spanning across multiple jurisdictions in Africa including Liberia, Cameroon, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Guinea-Bissau, Ghana and Zambia.
