Nivaash Singh

Co-Head: Mining & Resources Finance Nedbank Corporate & Investment Banking

Nivaash co-heads the Mining and Resources business and has been driving Nedbank CIB’s African strategy since 2010. He leads a team of 15 professionals based in JHB and travelled the African continent extensively.

Nivaash has been involved in the execution of a number of high-profile African project finance transactions in Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, Namibia, Malawi, Zambia, Kenya, Mali, Liberia and Sierra Leone. Some of Nivaash’s key clients are AngloGold Ashanti, Gold Fields, Perseus Mining, Resolute Mining, Perenti Global, First Quantum Minerals and Gem Diamonds Limited.

Nivaash began his career with Deloitte & Touche, where he qualified as a chartered accountant in 1999.
