Inclusive Procurement & ESD Manager Seriti Resources

Nyaniso Rapiya is a seasoned enterprise and supplier development (ESD) and Inclusive procurement expert with working experience spanning more than 10 years in this niche. He  joined Seriti Resources as ESD and Inclusive procurement Manager in 2019 where he is charged with the development and execution of the group’s ESD and inclusive procurement strategy whose chief aim is the empowerment  and incorporation of transformed and local SMMEs in Seriti’s supply chain.

Prior to that, he was employed by multi-national technology consulting firm Accenture, where he set-up ‘fit-for-purpose’ ESD programs and developed preferential procurement strategies for blue-chip clients across multiple sectors including the Aviation, Minerals and Auto industries.

Nyaniso began his career with Bidvest in 2003, where he was recruited as part of their auto division’s graduate program. He went on to complete the group’s management development program in 2006.

The next phase of his career in 2011, leveraged his passion areas of entrepreneurship, youth and SMME development where he consulted in the enterprise, organizational and  community development space for entities such as Rio Tinto, LaFarge and Imerys.

Nyaniso brings with him, a solid understanding of the black economic empowerment, supply chain and local economic development landscape which enablkes him to leverage the supply chain space to contribute to the betterment of local economies
