Tsutomu Aoki joined Toyota Tsusho Corporation in 1999 and pursued his career in developing rare metal projects especially around lithium sector.
In 2019, he dedicated himself in Toyota Motors to form a new company “Prime Planet Energy & Solutions (PPES)”, JV between Toyota Motors and Panasonic and now he is leading the long term procurement strategy of battery raw materials for PPES as well as Toyota group battery manufacturers
