Werner Duvenhage – Managing Director Richards Bay Minerals Werner joined Rio Tinto in 2013 as the Managing Director for Rossing Uranium Limited in Namibia and in 2018 he was appointed as Managing Director of Richards Bay Minerals in South Africa.
Prior to joining Rio Tinto, he had a career that started in the South African mining industry and transitioned through the fishing industry in Namibia before returning to mining again. Werner worked for large corporates and junior mining companies including the likes of Johannesburg Consolidated Investments (JCI), Bidvest and Paladin Energy.
