Will Pearson

Senior Investment Officer Prosper Africa

Will Pearson is Senior Investment Advisor at Prosper Africa, a U.S. government program promoting two-way trade and investment between the U.S. and African countries. He has nearly 20 years of experience working with diverse teams in North America, Europe, and Africa in the energy, infrastructure, and impact investing sectors.

Before joining Prosper Africa, Will lived in Zambia between 2014-2019, where he was the Director of GET FiT Zambia, KfW-sponsored renewable energy program, and a Senior Transaction Advisor with the IFC in addition to managing his own advisory firm, Triskel Africa.

Prior to Zambia, he was a Director in the Global Energy practice and Head of the London office at Eurasia Group, a political risk consultancy. Will has written articles for The Economist, Financial Times and Foreign Policy, and has featured as a guest speaker and panel moderator at conferences and roundtables across the US, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
