Mecktilder M.M. is an African mining strategist who translates grassroots intelligence into boardroom strategy for governments, institutions, and investors. She builds the infrastructure that de-risks Africa’s mining value chain — advising decision-makers while closing the information and training gaps that hold the sector back. Through TWiMMI (Tanzania Women in Mining and Mineral Industry), which she founded and leads, more than 4,200 women and youth have been trained. Through WOOW ME JEWEL, she proves the model with “mine to market.” Rooted in artisanal gold mining in Morogoro, her through-line holds constant: moving Africa from extraction to ownership, from pit to policy.
