Driving sustainable investment in African Mining

Resource Minerals International Ltd

Stand: ES21
  • Mining Company

Resource Minerals International Ltd (ASX:RMI) is an independent Australian minerals company advancing a portfolio of prospective exploration projects focused on critical and precious minerals in leading mining jurisdictions. RMI has a portfolio of prospective projects in Tanzania including two high quality copper-gold projects, Mpanda and Mbozi, located within the prolific Ubendian Orogenic Belt of Western Tanzania. Copper has been produced from the Mpanda mineral field for close to a century and continues today with the development of the Katavi Mine. In addition to historical production and historical exploration results, new soil sample and rock chip sample results, surface mapping and limited shallow drilling at Mpanda demonstrate high tenor assays which suggest high prospectivity for copper. A geophysics survey is underway to assist with drill hole targeting for a drill programme to be conducted in the coming months. The company has a highly experienced and credentialed board led by Asimwe Kabunga as Executive Chairman, who has strong ties to Tanzania.
