Shae Storm Ryce is a Chemistry and Biochemistry student at the University of Johannesburg with a keen interest in science and research. She is particularly passionate about chemistry, scientific communication, and using scientific knowledge to address real-world challenges. Her academic journey centres on deepening her understanding of complex scientific concepts and making them accessible through clear, effective communication.

Alongside her studies, Shae is the creative lead of Elysian, a skincare brand focused on combining science-backed ingredients with customer education and transparency. She is passionate about making scientific knowledge more accessible and bridging the gap between research and everyday understanding, particularly in skincare and wellness.

Curious, creative, and detail-oriented, Shae continually seeks opportunities to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact through science and entrepreneurship.
