2026 Speakers

Dr Stacy Hope is an international development specialist, strategic advisor and anthropologist with more than 12 years of experience working across the commercial, public and multilateral sectors. Her expertise spans gender and inclusion, natural resources, renewable energy, climate resilience, disaster risk and major national and international infrastructure development.

She currently consults and advises various United Nations agencies and serves on the Advisory Board of Actions for the Development of Africa. Her work focuses on advancing gender inclusion in artisanal and small-scale mining, aligning programme strategies with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles into corporate strategy.

Dr Hope brings a strong interdisciplinary perspective to sustainable development, with a particular focus on ensuring that natural resource development delivers inclusive and lasting social and economic value.
