With a degree in mining engineering, Isabelle has 20 years' experience in the mining industry, where she held positions of increasing responsibility in mine planning, mine operations, port operations, logistics and maintenance. She was the first Kanak from New Caledonia to lead a mining company. As part of her engagement with government and communities, Isabelle seeks to build meaningful, trusting and transparent relationships.
Isabelle has played an active role at NMC, spearheading change and supporting training and talent development. She is a member of Femmes chefs d'entreprises de Nouvelle-Calédonie, which champions the country's female entrepreneurs. She also maintains active relationships with schools and universities to promote the importance of mining in the country and the career opportunities available.
