Jaasi Munanka

VP, Legal Operations, Africa AngloGold Ashanti

Jaasi has worked at AngloGold for the past 12 years. In his current role he is accountable for legal and company secretarial matters at AGA’s operations across Africa. In addition, he is head of litigation for the group. Previously, he established the compliance department as VP: Group Compliance. Prior to AngloGold, Jaasi was a litigation partner at the Denver office of Hogan Lovells. Jaasi received his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School (J.D.) and also has electrical engineering degrees from the University of Michigan (M.S.) and Stanford University (B.S.).
