Khumoetsile Dikupa is an experienced Exploration Geologist with over 20 years’ experience across the African mining sector, specialising in diamonds, gold, base metals and precious stones, including copper, nickel, silver and PGMs. He has led exploration programmes from early-stage green-field discovery through to advanced resource definition and project development – brown-fields, with a strong operational background in exploration and drilling management, geological project management, QAQC systems and protocols, and exploration data integration and management. Khumoetsile has extensive hands-on experience managing complex drilling campaigns in both open-pit and underground environments, while integrating modern exploration technologies such as real-time performance monitoring, digital data capture, and geoscience-driven decision tools. His work focuses on improving drilling efficiency, cost control, safety performance, and data quality to accelerate value creation. Currently serving as Chief Exploration Officer at Falcon Metal Resources, he oversees multi-commodity exploration portfolios across Southern Africa. He is particularly passionate about bridging traditional field-based geology with next-generation exploration technologies to unlock discovery, enhance investor confidence, and support responsible resource development.
