2026 Agenda Sessions

Country Showcase - Republic of Guinea (Simandou 2040)

This session will present Guinea’s transformation in two parts: the first will examine the "One Year of Delivery" following the Simandou launch, detailing the transition to operationalisation of the integrated mine-rail-port chain alongside the ground-breaking of two new alumina refineries and the creation of the National Mining Company (NMC). The second will assess the Simandou 2040 vision as a comprehensive roadmap for industrialisation, exploring how new institutional models like the CTG and ANAIM, paired with the country’s first sovereign rating (B+), are de-risking investments and leveraging mining infrastructure to drive long-term economic diversification.

Tuesday 10 February 12:30 - 14:00 Victoria Falls Stage (CTICC2 - Level 2)
