Mike Cinnamond became President and CEO of B2Gold in June 2026, following more than a decade as the Company's Chief Financial Officer. As President and CEO, he leads B2Gold's global team and is responsible for advancing the Company's long-term strategy, growth, and performance.

With more than 25 years of experience in the mining sector, Mike brings a deep understanding of both the industry and the business. Before joining B2Gold in 2014, he was an audit partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he specialized in working with mining, forestry, energy, and utilities companies and served as the firm's BC Resources Leader.

A respected leader within the mining industry, Mike served as President of the Canadian Institute of Mining (CIM) from 2023 to 2024. He currently serves on the boards of Onyx Gold Corp. and Contango Ore Inc., and previously served on the boards of HighGold Mining Inc. and Canuck Place Children's Hospice. Mike is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a law degree from the University of Exeter.
