Mining & Projects Manager Yara Oil SA
Mr. KEITA holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the National Engineering School of Bamako in Mali, and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the United States. He has over 25 years of professional experience working with oil companies serving mining clients in Mali and across the West African sub-region. Throughout his career, he has occupied several senior roles, including Site Manager, Key Account Manager, Project Manager, Mining Contract Manager, and Country Manager. Drawing on his extensive expertise in administration, operations and sales, acquired over all these years, Mr. KEITA has served as Mining Contracts and Projects Manager at Yara Oil since 2020. Beyond his professional career, Mr. KEITA is actively engaged in humanitarian initiatives, with a particular focus on supporting street children. He contributes in a volunteer capacity through advisory services, fundraising efforts, and partnership development.

Mali is re-positioning its mining sector as a strategic engine for national development, explicating the newly adopted mining code as it raises state & local participation in mining projects built upon a stronger mandate for value-addition frameworks. The Ministry will emphasise continuing centrality of gold, whilst also showcasing emerging opportunities in lithium and other battery minerals.
