Executive Chairman Skylark Minerals

Nikolai has joined Skylark Minerals as an Executive Chairman in January of 2025. 
Previously, Nikolai has been a founding chief executive officer of Nordgold plc. During 15 years between 2007 and 2022, Nikolai successfully lead the company from startup to a top tier gold mining business with annual production of over 1 Moz, 16 Moz of reserves and 40 Moz of resources. Nikolai has a deep and extensive experience of operating in West Africa. He ran a portfolio of 4 high performing mines in Guinea and Burkina Faso, two of which were explored, developed and built by his team. Nikolai aims to leverage his experience with Nordgold to build a top-tier gold mining company at Skylark.
