Norman Mukwakwami leads the implementation of Trafigura's Responsible Sourcing Programme, ensuring the company upholds internationally recognised human rights standards across its global supply chains of minerals, metals and bulk commodities. With over a decade of ESG experience, Norman has built his expertise across leading organisations including the World Bank, Pact, Levin Sources and Trafigura. His work focuses on embedding responsible sourcing practices that balance industry standards with tangible value creation for all stakeholders.Norman holds advanced degrees in Mineral Economics and Mining Engineering and is currently pursuing a PhD. His unique combination of technical mining knowledge and sustainability expertise enables him to bridge the gap between operational realities and ESG imperatives in the commodities sector.
