Paul Gait is the Group Head of Strategy for Anglo American plc responsible for the Group’s analysis and interpretation of the commodity markets and the broader macroeconomic environment as well as development of the Group’s strategic direction and priorities. Prior to joining Anglo American, Paul was chief investment officer and director of research at Azvalor Asset Management and was responsible for running the firm’s natural resource exposure spanning a broad sectoral mandate (base metals, bulk commodities, diversified mining, precious metals, energy, and agriculture).
