Erez Ichilov is a New York City based Critical Minerals expert. He is a seasoned mining, metals and physical commodities executive (Managing Director, CFO, Deputy CEO), director (Executive and NED, in both listed and private companies), advisor and investor, with a legal and financial background (Lawyer and MBA). Former Managing Director of investment projects at the Traxys Group – a global physical commodities trading house - and prior to that Deputy CEO of Cunico Resources – at the time a prominent vertically integrated Ferro Nickel producer. As of 2024, he is acting through his newly formed Cedrus Arbor LLC. During his career, Erez was also involved in various capacities in high-tech ventures, logistics, energy and infrastructure investments and projects and gained a deep understating of building and operating global supply chains and value chains including in Africa. From around 2017, Erez has been mainly focusing his work on responsible mining and safe processing investment projects for Battery Materials and other Critical Minerals, as well as on sustainable exploration, mining, processing, recycling and rehabilitation technologies enabling the transition to renewable energy sources, to electric transportation and haulage, the AI and Digital revolution and the quest for decarbonizing traditional supply chains and industrial activities.
