The technology exists. The data exists. The business case exists. Yet across the mining industry, many innovations remain stuck in pilot projects, proof-of-concepts and isolated success stories. As the Technology Programme ends, this discussion asks a simple but challenging question: what is really preventing mining from transforming faster? And importantly, what decisions need to be made today if the industry is serious about building the next generation of mines?
