A formidable youth leader and seasoned businessman, he has built a strong track record in youth advocacy, policy development, and economic empowerment. Through his leadership at Lotsha Investments, Makhanya has spearheaded strategic investments in mining, logistics, and commodity trading, showcasing both his entrepreneurial acumen and commitment to inclusive economic growth. He played a pivotal role in the #21MillionIn2021 fundraising campaign, which mobilised over R30 million to support students at risk of financial exclusion during the 2021 higher education funding crisis.
