Ken Osei

Ken Osei is a Principal Investment Officer; Manufacturing & Consumer Services with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the Private Sector arm of the World Bank Group (WBG). Ken is the Hub Leader- for IFC’s Southern Africa Region, where he leads a team focused on originating, structuring, closing, and managing investments in the sectors of Manufacturing (including the automotive supply chain), Tourism, Retail, Property, Healthcare, Education. Ken has been directly involved in equity, quasi-equity, and debt investments including Green Bond investments. Prior to his current role as Hub Lead, Ken was Principal Equity Specialist focusing on equity investments across sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to joining IFC, Ken had a long career in principal investing, management consulting and manufacturing, in the US and Sub-Saharan Africa. Ken holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the George Washington University, a Master of Science Degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA Degree from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
