The dress code for Mining Indaba is business or business casual attire. We recommend dressing professionally during conference sessions and networking events.

Mining Indaba 2024 will be held from 5-8 February 2024 at CTICC, located in Cape Town.

Yes, we have a dedicated mobile app for Mining Indaba. You can download it from the App Store or Google Play Store closer to the event date. The app will provide all essential event information, schedules, and networking features.

Once you have regsitered and paid in full, It can take up to 24 hours for your app login details to be sent. If you  still have not recieved your details, please check your junk folder. Make sure the email you registered with is your email and not your assistant’s email.

Absolutely! Mining Indaba provides ample networking opportunities through scheduled networking sessions, receptions, and interactive sessions designed to foster meaningful connections among attendees. 

Your delegate badge permits access to the event and any approved networking functions.  No badge means no entry.  All delegates will pass through airport style security on arrival at CTICC.  This is also a firearm free event.  Security concerns should be reported to the Venue Operations Centre located in room 2.35. 

Crime, especially petty theft, can be prevalent in Cape Town.  Delegates are encouraged to remain vigilant at all times and should get taxi’s across the city especially at night.  South African Police can be contacted in an emergency on 10111.

English to French simultaneous translation is available on our Disrupter and Intergovernmental Summit stages throughout the event. Translation will also be provided on our Presidential stage if required.
