Ms Anne Mufamadi

Head Artisanal Small-Scale Mining Mintek

Anne Mufamadi is the head of Artisanal and Small-Scale Mining Section which is part of the Mining and Mineral Economics at Mintek. She has over 17 years’ experience in skills development and SMME support services in mining and construction industries. Her passion lies in the support and development of rural and marginalised communities and her goal is to see women realise their full economic potential through capacity building and empowerment programmes. In her current position, she provides support to small-scale miners, SMMES and co-operatives through skills and enterprise development, research, technologies, mine community intervention programmes, stakeholder engagements and beneficiation programmes in the mining and minerals sector.  
She currently sits on the board of the Jewellery Council of South Africa.
