Investor passes are reserved solely for professional investors. This includes individuals whose primary function is to invest funds into mining companies and projects and who may be employed in private equity, commodity trading, asset management, investment management, hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds, venture capital, private wealth management, and family offices.
Private investors/HNWIs who can provide evidence of at least US$1 million in liquid financial assets will also benefit from complimentary passes, subject to their primary motivation for attending being investment purposes. Subject to review and approval.
Government passes are reserved for those who are currently employed or appointed by a government/ governmental ministry or agency. Subject to review and approval.

The General Counsel Forum on Thursday 8 February is reserved solely for mining and exploration focused in-house legal professionals. This includes general counsel, in-house lawyers, compliance, and risk professionals, company secretaries and legal operations managers. Subject to review and approval.
Press and media passes are served solely for members of the media who have been pre-accredited for a press pass. Eligibility is determined by your valid press accreditation ID or providing samples of relevant work.

Absolutely! Mining Indaba provides ample networking opportunities through scheduled networking sessions, receptions, and interactive sessions designed to foster meaningful connections among attendees.
Your delegate badge permits access to the event and any approved networking functions. No badge means no entry. All delegates will pass through airport style security on arrival at CTICC. This is also a firearm free event. Security concerns should be reported to the Venue Operations Centre located in room 2.35.
Crime, especially petty theft, can be prevalent in Cape Town. Delegates are encouraged to remain vigilant at all times and should get taxi’s across the city especially at night. South African Police can be contacted in an emergency on 10111.
