The Nederlands Materialen Observatorium (NMO)

The Nederlands Materialen Observatorium (NMO) collects, manages and provides data, information and knowledge on critical raw materials and supply chains, including information on security of supply and open strategic autonomy. With this we aim to enable policy makers and companies to better anticipate risks, such as security of supply of critical materials for the Netherlands and the EU. The aim is to contribute to a resilient and resilient economy and society through these insights into raw material flows and supply chains. In doing so, the NMO cooperates with the national government, companies and knowledge institutes, at home and abroad. The NMO is housed at the Geological Survey of the Netherlands (GDN), part of TNO.
