Mining Indaba 2027 will take place between 8 - 11 February 2027 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, South Africa.

Investing in African Mining Indaba welcomes over 12,000 attendees from across Africa and around the world, reaffirming its position as the leading meeting place for the African mining industry and its global partners.
Mining Indaba is being held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC 1) located on Convention Square, 1 Lower Long Street, 8001.
Car parking is available at the CTICC in Car Park P1 for a daily fee. Taxis and Ubers can stop at the dedicated drop zones on Walter Sisulu Avenue for CTICC 1 and Heerengracht Street for CTICC 2.

Cloakroom – Available on the ground floor of both CTICC 1 and 2. Please note luggage is not allowed at the event and should be left with your hotel concierge. The organisers will not be held responsible for any items left in the cloakrooms and you do so at your own risk.
WiFi – Free Wi-Fi will be available for all delegates. Log in instructions will be available on arrival.
ATMs – These are located on the ground floor of both buildings and Level -1 in CTICC 1.
Prayer Room – Partitioned prayer rooms are available and opened between 07:30 - 18.00 each day. As the event will fall over Ramadan, a dedicated delegate guide is being produced with key information.

Delegate
Investing in African Mining Indaba offers a range of pass types tailored to different stakeholder groups across the mining value chain. Available pass types include General Delegate, Major & Mid-tier Mining Companies, Junior & Exploration Mining Companies, Governments & Ministries, Investors, Downstream Industrial Buyers, Communities, Press, Young Professionals and Students. Eligibility criteria, access levels and pricing vary by pass type, and some complimentary passes are subject to a qualification and approval process. All stages will be presented in English. Translation from English to French will be provided on the Disruptive Discussions (Table Mountain), Government (Victoria Falls Stage) and Country Case Studies (River Nile & Sahara Stages). Special requests via speakers and governments are considered and the appropriate translation provided if approved.
Tea, coffee and water is available all day at the designated refreshment points within the Connections Lounges and within key features. These areas will be easy to identify with icons on event maps. Lunch, including new grab and go offerings, will be provided from the Connections Lounges (x 4), The Food Court & The Courtyard between 12:00 – 15:00 Monday to Wednesday. Lunch on Thursday is served at the Closing Party. Vegetarian and vegans will be catered for. If you have any specific dietary requirements, please email us via registration@miningindaba.com. All day snacks with be available daily from the Connections Lounges & activation carts located around the venue.

Collection instructions will be issued two weeks before the event if the pass has been fully paid. At registration a government issued photo ID will be required to collect your badge. Without your badge, entry will be refused. For changes or substitutions please email registration@miningindaba.com. Your delegate badge permits access to the event and any approved networking functions. No badge means no entry. All delegates will pass through airport style security on arrival at CTICC. This is also a firearm free event. Security concerns should be reported to the Venue Operations Centre located in room 2.35.
Crime, especially petty theft, can be prevalent in Cape Town. Delegates are encouraged to remain vigilant at all times and should get taxi’s or Uber's across the city especially at night. South African Police can be contacted in an emergency on 10111.
