Critical Minerals Analyst IEA

Ms Alexandra HEGARTY is a Critical Minerals Analyst at the International Energy Agency, specialising in demand and supply modelling within the World Energy Outlook team. Her work focuses on critical minerals, with a particular specialisation in nickel, markets, and environmental, social and governance considerations. She is a principal author of the IEA report Global Critical Mineral Outlook, Recycling of critical minerals, and Sustainable and Responsible Critical Mineral Supply Chains.   
Prior to joining the IEA, Ms HEGARTY served as an Economist at Natural Resources Canada, where she concentrated on market trends and economic analysis of critical minerals. She holds an MA in Economics from the University of Toronto.
