Lead Mining Specialist World Bank
Boubacar holds a Master degree in Mining Engineering and Economics, and an MBA. He has over thirty years of experience in the public and private mining sectors. He is leading World Bank operations on promoting investments, governance, institutional strengthening, and on facilitating dialogue between governments, the private sector and civil society. He is leading or led analytical works ranging from mining community development to ancillary infrastructure development, mining tax administration, mine closure, skills development, etc.
Prior to joining the World Bank he worked in the private sector on all the cycles of mining operations, and on mining projects finance.
