Champ Thekiso is a qualified Chartered Accountant and strategic consultant with over 17 years’ experience. His career began at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he developed his auditing and advisory skills for SMMEs.
Champ has since excelled in transforming underperforming entities into high-growth advisory firms and founded Thekvest Group, leading numerous strategic initiatives focused on socio-economic development and economic inclusion, particularly in the resources sector. His leadership has been pivotal in collaborations with industry leaders, amongst others like Impala Platinum and the Minerals Council South Africa.
Champ’s expertise extends to facilitating planning sessions across various sectors, developing long-term strategic plans, and ensuring robust financial governance. His commitment to ethical leadership is evident in his governance roles across various boards, consistently positioning him as a trusted advisor in socio-economic development.
