CEO Stone Three
Derick is the CEO of Stone Three, an Applied Industrial AI Solution business focused on the Mining Industry. Stone Three specialises in flotation and comminution solutions that are comprised of Advanced Process Control, industrial machine vision and remote monitoring and diagnostics analytics. Derick is also the Chairman of Stone Three Impact, an NPO focused on STEM education for children, and the Chairman of Cubespace, a satellite technology company. Prior to Stone Three, Derick held various leadership positions at General Electric and was the founder and CEO of CSense Systems. In the early part of his career, he was a Senior Lecturer in Chemical Engineering, a discipline in which he has a PhD.
