Francisco Baudrand
CEO Enaex Africa
Francisco Baudrand, a civil and industrial engineer graduate from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, complemented his education with an MBA from the same institution and an executive masters at Harvard Business School. His journey began in the shipping industry at AGUNSA, progressing through pivotal roles at CCNI and as Strategic Planning Deputy Manager at LAN Airlines. Steering his path to Enaex, today the third largest explosives supplier for the mining industry in the world, as Business Development Director, Francisco played a crucial role in the Sasol joint venture. This included the transformative rebranding of a South African ammonia producer into Enaex Africa, redefining the mining industry with a human-centric approach. Enaex Africa commenced operations in July 2020 with Francisco appointed as CEO. He achieved great success through the intelligence and visualisation he offered to Enaex global and Enaex Africa. Francisco is passionate about humanising the mining industry, and in July 2023, he became the Vice President of the Africa region. “My most important purpose is to impact and change the lives of others”.
