Gareth Taylor has over 14 years of experience in the mining sector, including a 7-year tenure at S&P Global and now Director of Market Intelligence Commodities Industry & Corporate data. In this role, Gareth spearheads the design and delivery of corporate/market/portfolio analysis tools, as well as overseeing Commodity related ESG research and cross divisional synergy programs.
Prior to this, he worked for 3 years at SNL Financial, developing the European commercial strategy for their Commodities product’s. He brings a wealth of mining experience in Exploration, Trading, Private Equity and Investment Banking. Gareth holds two master’s degrees from Imperial College London and Southampton University in Metals & Energy Finance and Physics and Photonics, respectively.
