Helder Santos has over 25 years of international experience, with over 10 years as a leader in industry and 15 years in consulting, delivering operational excellence projects across more than 30 countries. He has significant, diverse experience across the business value chain, particularly in operations, supply chain, sales and operations planning, and sales management. His key expertise lies in optimising productivity within operations, including productivity improvements, capital project optimisation, organisational and operating model redesign and contractor management. Helder has conducted several noteworthy optimisation programmes within the mining sector, such as an operational excellence programme at a major diamond company in Botswana resulting in a 22% AISC reduction, and an operational optimisation programme for a tantalum-niobium and tin mining company in Brazil, which increased processed volume by 36%. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering and an MBA in Global Management from Durham Business School.
