Hiroyuki Tsuruno
Director for Development Issues, International Organizations Division, International Bureau Ministry of Finance, Japan
Mr. Tsuruno is the Director for Development Issues and is responsible for RISE (Resilient and Inclusive Supply-chain Enhancement) partnership as well as some other topics in macroeconomics and finance at the G7/G20.Prior to the current position, He spent two years at Prime Minister’s Office as Executive Assistant to the Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary and also served as the Director of Office of Foreign Exchange Reserve Management, FX Markets Division. Mr. Tsuruno joined MOF in 2005, and since then, he held various positions such as a Deputy Budget Examiner at Budget Bureauwithin MOF, as well as served as a Deputy Director at Japan Financial Services Agency (2012-2015), and a Financial Attaché at the Japanese Embassy to the United Kingdom (2015-2018).
