It began with a bursary from the De Beers Group to study Mining Engineering at the University of the Witwatersrand. Upon graduation, I seized the opportunity to join the AECI Group through the AEL Mining Explosives business, where I became a qualified Explosives Engineer. Since then, I've contributed to diverse mining projects across the continent, leveraging my expertise to drive success. Earning an MBA from the Gordon Institute of Business Science further propelled me into senior leadership roles within the AECI Group. 
Leading with Vision and Expertise 
As Vice President Africa of AECI Mining (Mining Explosives & Chemical Division) in South Africa, I drive profitability and expansion by leading strategic direction and execution for the division. Serving as Chairman or Member of the Board in multiple African countries, I foster strong governance and business success. 
My approach involves developing international business plans, negotiating contracts, and managing cross-functional activities to streamline operations and improve efficiency. I construct strategic imperatives to influence financial metrics, ensuring achievement of targets and enhancing shareholder value.
