Mogakolodi Maoketsa is a seasoned mining executive with over two decades of experience in the diamond mining industry. As General Manager of Orapa, Letlhakane, and Damtshaa Mines, he leads one of the world’s most prominent integrated diamond operations, overseeing strategic planning, operational excellence, and sustainable resource management.
As the General Manager of the Debswana Orapa Letlhakane and Damtshaa Mines and a member of Group Exco, Mogakolodi is responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies in line with Debswana’s corporate vision. His role involves managing external stakeholder dynamics, including engagement with communities and the government, to deliver balanced value for shareholders.
Throughout his career, Mogakolodi has played a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency, implementing digital transformation strategies, and fostering sustainability in the mining industry. His leadership philosophy is rooted in continuous improvement, innovation, and cultivating high-performance teams. His wealth of experience includes key leadership roles at Debswana Diamond Company, BCL Limited, and AngloGold Ashanti.
