Thomas-Louis de Lophem
CEO and Co-Founder MinersAI
MinersAI is an early-stage Belgo-American startup with a mission to build the foundational data layer that the mining and mineral exploration industries need to deploy data science processes effectively.
In any AI-related project, 80% of the work involves handling data—finding, cleaning, and standardizing it. Mining is no exception: historical data arrives in diverse formats, requiring significant effort to make it compatible with data science applications. MinersAI accelerates these efforts substantially.
MinersAI’s platform offers access to a large database of fully standardized geological data of any type, along with tools to host, share, standardize, and analyze critical data for exploration and mining companies or investors of any scale.
The company has two cofounders: Mason Dykstra, Ph.D., a former professor at the Colorado School of Mines with 25 years of experience as an Oil & Gas Geologist, and Thomas-Louis de Lophem, an experienced startup operator with 15 years of expertise in AI, data, machine learning, and remote sensing.
Thomas-Louis, based in Belgium, is a Mechanical Engineer and Quantum Physicist who also holds a professional certificate in AI from MIT.
