Dr. Titus Sauerwein is an expert on the governance of the extractive sector in sub-Saharan Africa, with a particular focus on artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM). He works as a senior advisor to the European Partnership for Responsible Minerals (EPRM), a unique multi-stakeholder initiative supporting the responsible production of and sourcing from ASM. Titus has conducted extensive research on the interface dynamics between large-scale mining and ASM in Francophone West Africa.
